The philosopher´s room
The philosopher Martin Heidegger wrote his greatest works, including "Being and Time," in a mountain hut not far from the Berghof Almzeit. Our cozy, two-story holiday apartment is dedicated to him. With two separate entrances, it is ideal for couples traveling together or families with older children.
This 75-square-meter apartment spans two levels—the first floor and the attic (formerly a hayloft)—and is accessible via the garden. A bench and coat rack in the spacious hallway provide ample storage. The "Philosophenstüble" apartment features two separate entrances, each leading into a double bedroom. A staircase leads down to the first floor, where you will find two modern shower bathrooms and a spacious eat-in kitchen with a large corner bench, perfect for sociable evenings. In the adjoining living room, a cozy sofa nook can be converted into a full-fledged bed with a slatted base to accommodate an additional person.
